I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I always had the desire to explore the world, and at 18 y.o. I took the first step by going to live in Patagonia, where I attended my university studies related to biology (1995). It was a very happy time; Bariloche is a beautiful place to enjoy nature and freedom. But I still longed to discover the world: that's how I got a scholarship to do my master of science in Baja California, México (2000). That was a full stage of discovery and expansion. I was originally going for two years but it was extended to nine, since in addition to working, I also ended up doing a PhD in Marine Ecology (2006).

Then I had the opportunity to do a postdoctoral fellowship in the Caribbean. Eventually I wondered if the path was really in that direction. I realized it was not, that the reality of the academic world was very different to my vision of what it was to be a scientist, and I decided not to continue.

I got married and settled in Playa del Carmen and once again looked deeply at art, which had always been present in my life but in the background. For the last 10 years I have dedicated my life to visual art in a professional way, being self-taught, but having taken courses and workshops with prominent Mexican artists such as Gustavo Monroy, Artemio Narro or Roberto Turnbull.

A lover of nature, conservation and culture, the purpose of my art is to connect people with their environment and with themselves through an invitation to reflection and contemplation of the physical and interior spaces.

I live in Playa del Carmen, México, where I have my workshop.
